Meet Rachel

As a woman of faith, you desire to honor the Lord in how you love your family & care for your home. But in today’s culture it’s hard for women like you to find encouragement actually rooted in truth or find helpful tips for being successful at homemaking. You want to do a good job and you want to have joy in it! This is why the Feminine Homemaker exists -to bring you practical tips & inspiration so you can thrive as a wife, mother & homemaker for the glory of God.

I believe homemaking is fun, beautiful & necessary work for God’s kingdom. I didn’t always see it this way, but the Lord radically changed the way I thought about it over time. And truthfully, some of the most basic homemaking skills just did not come naturally to me at all! I’ve had to learn and practice these skills so I can better serve my family & gain some confidence. The good news is, it’s never too late! Now, I want to share what I’ve learned so you can also find and cultivate beauty in your home.

Being a wife to my husband & mother to my three children are the highlights of my life. I homeschool our kids and enjoy learning myself (especially theology!) I also love all things floral & feminine, thrift shopping, and baking sourdough bread. If you stick around long enough you might just feel inspired to put on your favorite dress & apron, get out your fancy dishes, and whip something up in the kitchen by candlelight. Ordinary tasks have the potential to be quite romantic!

Above all is my identity in Christ. I believe the gospel of Christ is the foundation for living out true biblical womanhood. He is the reason behind what I share in homemaking pursuits, otherwise it would just be empty works! But in Christ, everything has purpose.
